Our reader works on the majority of handsets. We recommend that you download a FREE extract (available with each book) to try on your handset.
Is the reader easy to use?
It's very easy. All you have to do is:
- Select the book and click to open it - just like any other application
- Use the navigation keys to move through the book at your own pace.
- When you close the book - the reader will automatically bookmark where you are for next time!
Can I change the text size?
Yes - there is a choice of small, medium and large fonts.
I can't find my ebook that I downloaded. Where is it?
For Blackberry customers, look in the Downloads folder. For other handsets, click on the Games/Applications icon
Where are my audio books?
These are stored in your music library on your handset.
I purchased an audio book but only get a few minutes of sound. What happened?
Your handset dropped the connection due to poor signal.
Resolution:
Check the bars on your handset and if you have good signal, open your web browser, clear the cache and try downloading again. Alternatively, download over WiFi if your phone has that feature. Make sure your battery is charged before you download!
I have a problem trying to download a book and I've been told to 'clear the cache' on my phone? What does that mean?
The web browser on your handset stores ('caches') the web pages you visit. It does this because pages can take a long time to download. Loading the page from the cache is much faster than trying to download each time. If you have a problem with a purchase, the Customer Service Team at Gospoken.com may ask you to 'clear' or 'empty' the cache. This will force the web browser to download from our servers to rectify the issue. Don't worry, we'll explain how to do it !
